Circle hooks work best when you let the fish take the bait and swim away — resist the urge to strike and simply wind tight. The hook finds the corner of the jaw naturally. Sizes No.4 to No.1 suit bream, flathead, and light tackle species. Sizes 1/0 to 3/0 handle snapper, flathead, and general bottom fishing. Larger sizes (4/0 to 6/0) target snapper, mulloway, dhufish, and kingfish on whole baits and live baits.
