How do I know what depth a lure reaches?
Look for SR (1-2m), MR (2-4m), DD (4-6m), XDD (6m+) on packaging. Thinner line and longer casts help lures reach maximum depth.

Should I upgrade the hooks?
Budget lures often benefit from upgraded trebles. For saltwater, BKK Raptor-Z or Owner ST-36 prevent corrosion. Premium lures usually come with quality hooks.
