Do I need fishing gloves?
If you fish regularly with braid, yes — braid can cut fingers deeply during casting and fighting fish. Gloves also protect from sun (hands are often forgotten for sunscreen) and prevent blisters during heavy jigging.
Fingerless vs full-finger?
Fingerless for general fishing, casting, and lure changes (maintain dexterity). Full-finger for heavy jigging, popping, and extended casting sessions where blisters develop.
What gloves for jigging?
