A newly engineered ultra-light and super-shallow duralumin spool enables these very light weights to be cast using a low trajectory for enhanced accuracy, especially in tight corners. The efficiency of the FTB centrifugal magnetic braking system resists backlash and allows repeated long or short accurate casts to be performed smoothly. Other features, such as the lightweight but highly rigid HAGANE BODY and durable CARBON CROSS WASHER for smooth drag performance (with audible clicker) are also incorporated into the SLX BFS, making it perfect for finesse bait system (BFS) work in both salt and freshwater environments.
