Twinpower XD FB: MGL series makes use of lightness and response of low-inertia rotors made of carbon fibre reinforced resin CI4+ to show off its true value in technical fishing. Twinpower XD features rigid specifications that specifically focus on strength. In addition to the massive Hagane Body, the addition of InfinityXross and InfinityDrive improves gear durability and winding power. The new material of drag washer DuraCross provides overwhelming abrasion resistance and smooth and reliable drag performance. Moreover, InfinityLoop improves casting feel, New X Protect reduces intrusion of foreign matter into the line roller, and AntiTwistFin reduces line trouble were newly equipped to further evolve the comfort of use in tough environments.
MGL ROTOR
MGL ROTOR adopts asymmetrical rotor construction and seeks to improve operability and sensitivity, achieving a different dimension of rotational lightness. Furthermore, the line roller is made lighter, the bail is made of titanium, and the rotor wall thickness is optimally arranged to successfully reduce rotational inertia.
X PROTECT
In addition to conventional water repellent treatment, a labyrinth structure that suppresses water penetration is combined to achieve high waterproof performance despite the non-contact. Adopts for stopper bearings section, line roller section, and others.
ANTITWISTFIN
ANTITWISTFIN reduce line slack and prevent line from falling off the bottom of the spool, and also reduce the phenomenon of line wrapping around the spool with twisting.
