Ripple Fisher 2023 Ultimo
The Ripple Fisher 2023 Ultimo is the latest series of ultimate GT/Kingfish Fishing Rod. Developed and designed by Ripple Fisher over the last few years these are the pinnacle of GT/Kingfish Fishing rod design. They have been designed to be lightweight, with super strong casting and fighting power.
The Ultimo is a part of Ripple Fisher's boat casting series, refining its essential performance for conquering large fish, including lightweight construction, excellent balance, a nimble casting feel, and powerful butt section. The ultimate focus is on long-distance casting performance, the key to mastering the casting game. From the carbon blank material to the guide settings, the rods have been thoroughly refined to combine light weight, high repulsion, and powerful power, making them worthy of a new generation of rods.
The line-up includes three spinning models: the 82ML, 83M, and 710MH. Each rod offers unique character while delivering overwhelming performance, making all three models the pinnacle of Ripple Fisher's boat casting rod series.
And now, after years of testing, in 2024, Ripple Fisher's first baitcasting rod designed specifically for boat casting, the 86M/B, will finally be released.

The lifeblood of the new Ultimo is still the blank performance that promises outstanding casting distance, but as the flagship model of Ripple Fisher Boat Casting, every detail has been meticulously considered, from the guide specifications to the paint and parts.
●The Ultimo logo is finished in metallic silver, and the model name is in matte paint below the butt guide.
●All models feature SiC-S Titanium Frame K + SiC-RV guides for optimal line release.
●A titanium ring engraved with the model name is attached to the bottom of the reel seat.
●A resin ring is fitted to the rubber cap on the grip end, eliminating sticking between the gimbal belt and grip end during the fight and allowing for smooth insertion and removal from the fight to landing.
82ML
The ML's uniquely sensitive tip combines flexibility to reduce action errors with a firmness that allows for intentionally creating a gap between bites, making this model ideal for top-tier GT and yellowtail fishing using diving pencil lures. The blank's exceptional tracking ability allows it to withstand the aggressive runs of large fish and reduce load, allowing for powerful butt section power with minimal effort. Furthermore, in challenging areas with extensive rough rocks, its tenacious butt section delivers lifting power exceeding that of its line class. The lightweight and well-balanced blank, made possible by its medium-light construction, boasts an ultra-light casting feel and exceptional long-distance casting capabilities, providing superior casting performance and breeze to support even the most demanding and demanding casting games.
83M
This is a core model for fishing with GT and yellowtail as its main target, offering a perfect balance of casting feel, controllability, and fighting ability, all of which are essential elements of boat casting. It boasts the sharpness to fully cast medium-weight diving pencils and poppers (approximately 240mm) even in headwinds, a sense of stiffness that allows for nimble operation, and refined sensitivity and manual versatility to broaden the scope of fishing, enabling effective approaches that reflect the angler's skill even in difficult conditions. While the rod is designed to provide sufficient tension when under pressure during a fight, it also responds by lowering its centre of gravity to instantly exert lifting power. This rod is perfect not only for GT but also for powerful fights with shallow yellowtail.
710MH
The sharp, firm blank allows for sharp action with light effort, even with lures that offer high resistance, such as controlling large diving pencils (approximately 260mm), jerking sinking pencils from the bottom, and splashing medium-diameter poppers. This single rod allows for a wide range of applications, even in tough conditions. The short 7ft 10in length makes it easy to use and manoeuvre, making it an excellent choice for anglers on low-footing boats or the stern of large ships. The powerful butt section smoothly increases torque when you shift the centre of gravity to add weight and tighten the rod, giving even large fish the upper hand. Despite its medium-heavy power, it feels extremely light and easy to use, making it easy to handle even for those less confident in their stamina. This next-generation power rod is recommended for those who prefer more responsive lures and gameplay.
86M/B
This high-rebound blank, designed from the ground up specifically for baitcasting, delivers distance with minimal effort, delivering the casting, operability, and fighting performance required of a baitcasting model. Attention to detail included a longer rear grip for smoother casting and a rubber foregrip for improved grip. This allows for a firmer grip on the rod and prevents the reel from tilting downward during a fight. Large-diameter guides are also included to accommodate thick, long leaders and various line systems. This model offers many of the advantages of baitcasting tackle, such as stable flight posture for big lures and powerful reeling power, opening up new possibilities for offshore casting. Its light and nimble feel makes it easy to use for both experienced baitcasters and beginners.
